My day getting upside down

Updated: May 13, 2019

I accepted another new experience recently which I didn't realise would resurface my fear of heights and falling...twice in two days🤦🏼‍♀️

I joined my new gym for a workshop at Aerial Sports Canberra and it was so fun 🤹🏼‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️

I'm a yes girl and generally say yes to anything fun without actually finding out the details... so I had no idea what to expect. The moment I arrived I thought there'd be no way I could lift my body up into a Lyra (hoop), a trapeze or a hammock. I told those thoughts to bugger off and I proved them wrong.

By the end of it feeling super confident about being off the ground and supported by my own strength. There were a few moments where my fear got the better of me and I didn't think I'd be able to get down 😂

My word of advice... whenever you say you can't do something because of xyz, remember that's a limiting belief. Reframe it 'I cant do xyz, YET' and notice how much more powerful in your mind and body you become 👊💪💜

Anyway I think it's now time to get singing lessons so I can be the next pink 🎙🎸
