How often do you check in and ask yourself how balanced your day, week or life is?
I do this regularly, and usually mid week is a good way to gauge how the balance is going.
Sometimes the pendulum swings too far and as long as I'm mindful of that, I can even it back out - finding a nice middle ground.
This week I've noticed my balance is off due to a mass of conflicting priorities (everything just happened at once - and that's cool!), other things have not had my attention, including things I love and fill my cup. I realised I've not been eating properly, not drinking enough water, not getting enough sleep or enough exercise! Geez Jo!
But being aware of this, I can see the rest of my week with clear eyes and can make time to reset and do the things I love, like spending time with loved ones, taking a yoga class, or escaping to the ocean.
Had I not taken the time out to consider these things, I know the end of my week would be filled with exhaustion from the busyness rather than full from the balance.
Ask yourself about your own balance and see where your pendulum is swinging this week 🙏🏼🍃💜
