I recently started using dōTERRA essential oils in my day to day life for motivation, stress relief, focus and emotional support. And I slowly began to introduce them into my classes and workshops.
Essential oils have now become a staple in my daily activities. From drops of lemon in my morning water to help clear out toxins, to diffusing wild orange for inspiration, applying a perfume blend I created to assist me when I lack motivation, plus lavender before I teach a class and before I go to sleep.

Essential oils + their benefits
Firstly, essential oils come in many different forms. If you're using essential oils, you want to make sure it's safe and tested. I use dōTERRA as they are known to be a company who prides themselves on their quality.
So providing that the oils you are using are safe, you can use them aromatically, topically and internally in cooking, drops of tea or your drinking water. Plus you can create natural cleaning and beauty products
They are known to support you naturally in health and wellbeing.
I personally use them because I find the scents inspire me, lift up my moods, provide extra flavours in my tea and they help me breathe and rest easier at night.
I also find that the minute I use essential oils, whether topically or aromatically, I feel my mood shift and can feel a sense of calm. You know that feeling you get when you walk into a day spa or relaxation massage? You can re-create that same feeling with your own oils.
My friends have been using oils to support the health and wellbeing of their family and it's completely opened my eyes to oils. It's a great way to bring new support into your life.

Ordering your oils
There's a couple of options to get you started with dōTERRA. Here are the options below.
Retail
If you'd like to purchase one off items, you can shop online via the link below. Great for one off purchases, however retail purchases don't give you access to discounts or reward points. And if you're like me, you'll start using the oils and you'll want the entire collection! So even if you're just starting out, I'd suggest going wholesale because you'll save automatically.
Wholesale
f you’re like me and find yourself turning to natural solutions and love your senses filled with beautiful scents, you’ll want a wholesale account. This is the most popular and flexible account and gives you great discounts, with 25% off the retail price as well as the ability to earn points to redeem for future purchases.
Creating your wholesale account doesn’t automatically sign you up for anything beyond your wholesale account, however down the track you may like to become a Wellness Advocate and if so, we can chat about that further. If you want the 25% discount, then choose this option. You are in control of your account and can purchase when, how and what you’d like.
Wholesale customers have a $35 joining fee, unless you purchase a kit (home essentials is a great way to get started! Plus add on fractionated coconut so you can create your own blends and apply them to your skin!). Purchasing a kit waives the $35 joining fee, making it great value.
If you don't want a kit, that's no problem. You can create your own customised order which means picking your own essential oils and products - as little or as many as you like. I started my journey without a kit and I'm now kicking myself! Kits are below the wholesale cost, they're great value as they waive the $35 fee and are really the best deal (with extra stuff thrown in).

If you're passionate about sharing oils with others as well as in your own life, you can create your own business by sharing them in your yoga classes, hosting workshops or non-yoga related classes.
You can get paid for making recommendations for products you already love and believe in.
