Metta meditation is a meditation focused on generating kindness, compassion and unconditional love for yourself and others.

There's been a number of studies that determine that thinking positive thoughts increases the 'feel good' chemicals in your brain, elevating your moods and energy, while reducing stress, which then in turn heals the body.
